Fifth Myanmar Chinese Language Teaching Seminar held at Fuqing Confucius Classroom

On December 14, the opening ceremony of the Fifth Myanmar Chinese Language Teaching Seminar was held in the conference room of Fuqing Confucius Classroom.

China's Consulate General in Mandalay, Vice-Consul Li Libei, former Chairman of Fuqing School Huang Pengfei, new Chairman Lin Wenzhang, Vice President of Mandalay Myanmar-China Friendship Association Wu Chueh-wen, Chairman of Dongzhi Donghua Middle School Huang Yongzhong, Director of Mandalay Hua Assistant Center Li Jichang, Representative of Yunnan University, Professor Ma Yong, Director of Jin Guoxing, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Vice President Shi Fuxin, Changzhou Institute of Engineering, and leading teachers from various schools of Myanmar Chinese Teaching Institutions participated in the event. Vice-Consul Li Libei, Consulate General of China in Mandalay, former Chairman of Fuqing School Huang Pengfei, new Chairman Lin Wenzhang, Vice-President of Myanmar-China Friendship Association in Mandalay Province Wu Chueh-wen, Dongzhi Donghua Central Committee Chairman Huang Yongzhong, Director of Mandalay Aid Center Li Jichang, Yunnan University Representative Professor Ma Yong delivered a speech. The leading guests warmly congratulated the meeting!

After taking the group photo, make the keynote speech. Keynote addresses were delivered by Professor Li Yaling, Chinese Director of Fuqing Confucius Classroom, Dr. Chueh-teng, Director of Traditional Medicine Department, Ministry of Health, Myanmar, Mr. Wei Ningyi, Chinese Public Teacher, Myanmar Traditional Medical University, Mr. Jia Hui, Public Teacher, Dongzhi Donghua Middle School, and Dr. Li Zuqing, President of Fuqing School. Professor Li Yaling presented the information obtained at the International Conference on Chinese Language Education in 2019 on December 10; Dr. Kyaw Dent introduced the story of the relationship between Myanmar Traditional Medical University and Chinese; Ms. Wei introduced the promotion of Chinese medicine in Myanmar; and Ms. Jia  introduced the situation of Chinese teaching; Dr. Li Zuqing spoke on the topic "Chinese teaching helps Belt and Road". There was a great deal of enthusiasm at the meeting.

A panel discussion ensued. There were three panel discussions: two on the 14th and one on the 15th. At the panel discussion, we spoke enthusiastically to explore the future development of Chinese language education and teaching in Myanmar. On the afternoon of the 15th, after Dr. Li Zuqing' s summary report, Li Yaling' s Chinese director finally announced that the conference was successfully concluded.
