Government-Sponsored Teacher

To promote the culture and education exchange between China and other countries, and strengthen the work of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and aid foreign in education, the Ministry of China Education and Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), in accordance with the agreements for the education exchange between China and other countries, and considering the demand for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in other countries, have decided to send Chinese language teaching advisors and teachers to the ministries of education, universities, high and primary schools in other countries, and the organizer shall be Hanban.

Currently, there are totally 357 posts for government-sponsored teachers, covering 92 countries in America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. 

Fuqing Confucius Classroom is based on the exhibition ’s original intention to become a compound Confucius Institute based on Chinese language teaching and international promotion of Chinese language, academic research and practice, career orientation and technical training, actively absorbing outstanding domestic teachers.There are 4 government-sponsored teachers: Wei Ningyi, Zhao Tianbin, Chen Xiangjun and Jia Hui. Serving respectively: Myanmar Mandalay University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Myanmar Mandalay University of Foreign Studies, Fuqing Confucius Classroom Headquarters, Dongzhi Donghua School.
