Zuodi Gayong Temple is located in the city of Mandalay, near the 78-street old airport. It is a Burmese elementary school and monk school. The students of the temple come from the surrounding community, and some come from the mountains. Since January 1, 2015, Chinese language teaching centers have been opened, and there are currently 3 Chinese classes, including elementary, first grade, second grade, and fourth grade. The Chinese textbooks are the "Chinese" series of textbooks, "Chinese for Infants" and "Kindergarten Readers" compiled by Beijing Chinese Language Academy and published by Jinan University Press. The number of students is 70, from 6 to 50 years old, and there is also an old grandfather who is 80 years old, who is already in the fourth grade of Chinese. The students are Myanmar pupils, middle school students, high school students, Myanmar teachers, monks and administrators of the temple school, and 5 of them have passed the HSK Level 3.
