Maha Weixida Yama Temple

Maha Weixida Yama Temple is located in Bijidagong Community, south of Mandalay Province. It is a junior and intermediate-level temple school, a 30-minute drive from Confucius Classroom. The students of this temple school come from the community around the small town of Bijidagong in this temple. Most of the children in the temple come from the Blang (Northern Shan State), Rakhine (Rakhine State), mountainous areas or relatively remote places. Since March 7, 2014, Chinese language teaching centers have been opened, and there are currently 3 Chinese classes, including basic, first, second, third, and fifth grade. The Chinese textbooks are the "Chinese" series of textbooks, "Chinese for Infants" and "Kindergarten Readers" compiled by Beijing Chinese Language Academy and published by Jinan University Press. The number of students is 65. They are all elementary school students, middle school students and university students aged 7 to 25 years old. Some students have passed the HSK level 2 and 3.
