Annual Review of the International Scholarship for Chinese Teachers (Confucius Institute Scholarship)(2020)
Article 1 These Measures are formulated in accordance with the provisions of the Measures on the Administration of Scholarships for Confucius Institutes (Trial Implementation) and in light of the actual situation, in order to give full play to the benefits and incentives of the use of the International Scholarship for Chinese Teachers (Confucius Institute Scholarship) and to do a good job in the evaluation of scholarship students for the year 2020(hereinafter referred to as the annual evaluation).
Article 2 The annual evaluation refers to the annual evaluation of scholarship students, and the scholarship students participating in the annual evaluation include four categories: master's degree in Chinese international education, undergraduate in Chinese international education, undergraduate in Chinese + vocational and technical education, and master in Chinese + vocational and technical education. During the period of studying abroad, master's degree and undergraduate students take part in one and three reviews respectively, and those who meet the requirements can continue to enjoy the scholarship for the next academic year. The results of the evaluation are divided into full scholarship, partial scholarship suspension scholarship.
Article 3 The receiving institutions shall be responsible for organizing and implementing the annual evaluation work in accordance with these Measures. The Education Department (Education Commission) of the relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for the coordination of the annual evaluation of scholarship students in their respective regions.
Article 4 The receiving institutions shall comprehensively assess the academic achievement, Chinese language ability and comprehensive performance of the scholarship students, and make evaluation suggestions on the basis of assessment and evaluation: providing full scholarships, partial scholarships or suspension of scholarships.
I. Academic achievements:
1. Chinese International Education
The scope of the examination includes the final exam results of the first semester of the school year and the midterm exam results of the second semester of the course. For those who continue to qualify for full scholarship, the average achievement of each subject is not lower than the "excellent" level in principle (85 points); partial award is awarded
In principle, the average score of each subject is not lower than the "good" level (80 points), of which no more than 2 subjects with a score below the "good" level and no failing subjects are allowed.
2. Chinese + Vocational and Technical Education
The scope of the examination includes the final exam results of the first semester of the school year and the midterm exam results of the second semester of the course. For those who continue to be eligible for full scholarship, the average score of each subject shall not be less than 75 points in principle and no less than 70 points shall be allowed; for those who are eligible for partial scholarship, the average score of each subject shall not be less than 70 points in principle, of which no more than 2 subjects with a score below 70 points and no failing subjects shall be allowed.
II. Chinese proficiency
1. Chinese International Education
Master scholarship students are not less than HSK(6)180 points in principle, HSKK.
(Intermediate)70 points. The previous requirements of undergraduate scholarship students in Chinese international education are: in principle, the first time is not less than HSK( level 5)180 points, the second time is not less than HSK( level 5)240 points, the third time is not less than HSK( level 6)180 points; each year must take the HSKK( intermediate level) examination, the results report as a reference.
2. Chinese + Vocational and Technical Education
Master scholarship students are not less than HSK(5)240 in principle, HSKK.
(Intermediate)70 points. The previous requirements of undergraduate scholarship students in Chinese international education are: in principle, the first time is not less than HSK( level 4)240 points, the second time is not less than HSK( level 5)210 points, the third time is not less than HSK( level 5)240 points; each year must take the HSKK( intermediate level) examination, the result report as a reference.
Comprehensive performance: the scope of examination includes total ranking of academic achievement, learning attitude, behavior performance and attendance. The evaluation advice given by the school according to the students' comprehensive performance is an important reference factor to assess whether the students continue to enjoy the scholarship.
Article 5 Any person who violates the laws, regulations and regulations and is punished by suspension of his Confucius Institute Scholarship.
1. where the average achievement of each section does not reach a good level;
2. applying for transfer or suspension;
3. not participating in the annual review;
4. Not taking HSK and HSKK examinations without reason;
5. Other cases of suspension of scholarships.
Article 6 During the period of study, students who have been suspended from scholarships and have obtained part of the scholarships who have achieved excellent or good level may obtain full or partial scholarship qualifications in the next annual review.
Article 7 When an academic student applying for admission on the basis of an award-winning certificate of "Chinese Bridge" participates in the annual evaluation, the receiving institution shall, in conjunction with its teaching and training plan, refer to the above standards.
Article 8 Review procedure
1. receiving institutions will review the relevant content in an appropriate way to inform the year to participate in the review of academic scholarship students, to create conditions for students to participate in HSK and HSKK examinations in a timely manner.
2 Recipient institutions log on to the Confucius Institute Scholarship Management System (http://cic.chinese.cn), download the Confucius Institute Scholarship Annual Review Form and distribute it to students to complete the relevant contents.
3. Admission institutions are required to make the examination of scholarship students public and in June 24 ago, the review work will be summarized together with the "Confucius Institute Scholarship review annual evaluation of the Chinese proficiency examination results registration form" Confucius Institute Scholarship students evaluation information summary form "Confucius Institute Scholarship review annual evaluation form ", in the form of paper documents reported to the Confucius Institute headquarters Scholarship Office (electronic version sent to), and copied to the local education department (Education Commission). jxj@hanban.org
4. The headquarters of the Confucius Institute determines the evaluation opinions according to the materials submitted by the receiving institutions, and notifies the relevant receiving institutions and the local education department (education commission) before the end of August. The list of scholarship awards for Confucius Institutes shall be published by the receiving institutions, which shall inform the recommendation institutions of scholarship students of the suspension of scholarship awards.
