Dongzhi Donghua Middle School, formerly known as "Dongzhi Huawen Buddhist Sutra School", was founded on May 2, 1994, and was jointly founded by the Fujian Association, the Fuzhou Sanshan Association and the Guangdong Association. Originally, three hometown clubs were borrowed as class venues. On February 2, 2002, the new school building was built and put into use. As a result, the school was officially renamed "Dongzhi Donghua Language and Computer School", or "Donghua Middle School" for short. The school covers an area of about one and a half acres. It has a regular basketball court, a library with complete books and other various teaching, office and entertainment facilities. At present, the school has a complete teaching system covering kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and high school and more than 30 teachers, including one Government-Sponsored Teacher and 4 volunteer teachers. The textbooks used in school teaching are simplified characters and Chinese pinyin. The textbooks used are a full set of twelve volumes of Chinese textbooks and tutorial materials prepared for us by the Overseas Exchange Society. When a sub-examination room was added to the HSK test in North Myanmar in 2009, our school became a sub-examination room in the Dongzhi area, and assumed more work responsibilities for the HSK.
