Teaching school at the Jiaose University of Science and Technology

Jiaose University of Science and Technology is located in the city center of Jiaose city beside the old highway from Yangon to Mandalay. It is a university under the Ministry of Education of Myanmar. Jiaose City is 56 km away from Mandalay City. Jiaose University of Science and Technology is a 1.5-hour drive from Fuqing Confucius Classroom, Mandalay. The time to start teaching school is January 16, 2017. There are currently four Chinese classes, including Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4. Level 1, 2, and 3 use teaching materials of "Great Wall Chinese" and "Happy Chinese"; Level 4 uses "Great Wall Chinese" and "Development Chinese Writing". Open twice a year. Each session lasts about 2 to 3 months (45-60 hours), and each session has about 150 students (including teachers, professors, and students of Jiaose University of Science and Technology) learning Chinese. There are 4 overseas volunteer teachers responsible for teaching Chinese, and more than 500 trainees have been taught. At present, there are 3 people in level 4 and 9 in level 3, 12 in level 2 and 10 in level 1.
