The HSK Chinese Proficiency Test 2001 was held for the first time at the Yangon University of Foreign Studies in the capital of Myanmar. At that time, there were only more than 100 candidates in Myanmar, and more than 70 students from Fuqing School signed up. In 2006, Fuqing School began to take charge of the examination room in Northern Myanmar. At that time, there were only hundreds of candidates. Last year in 2018, the number of candidates exceeded 4,000 for the first time, and 6,000 in 2019. The surge in the number of candidates reflects the growing upsurge in learning Chinese in Myanmar. Fuqing Confucius Classroom won the Excellent Test Center Award from Hanban for 4 consecutive times.

Originally, there were only one HSK test center in North Myanmar. The Fuqing School has undertaken only 16 HSK test sites in North Myanmar. Including 12 Chinese schools, 3 Chinese companies, and 1 university. The rapid promotion of HSK in northern Myanmar reflects the increasing demand for Chinese talents brought about by the implementation of China's "Belt and Road Initiative" and "Herringbone" China-Myanmar Economic Corridor.
